Purpose
Kyoto cuisine, internationally acclaimed for its refinement, has long been rooted in the use of ingredients from Hyogo Prefecture. Building on this tradition, a Michelin one-star chef from Kyoto curates a premium onboard dining experience, centered on locally sourced ingredients from Kobe and the surrounding region.
This health tourism program combines a pre-boarding wellness check with a range of group-based activities enjoyed during the cruise, encouraging participants to reflect on balanced, healthy lifestyles that integrate both physical and mental well-being.
Authenticity
Chartering the boh boh KOBE, with a maximum capacity of up to 550 guests, allows for a wide range of flexible configurations. The vessel functions as a floating MICE venue, suitable for meetings, conferences, or private receptions—effectively serving as a meeting room or event space on the water.
In addition to serving as a leisure cruise, the experience highlights Kobe’s distinctive urban landscape, where mountains and sea are in close proximity. Guests can enjoy thalassotherapy-style relaxation on the open deck, feel the sea breeze, or observe aircraft takeoffs and landings at Kobe Airport at close range—features rarely available in urban cruise programs.
Evening charters offer the opportunity to exclusively enjoy Kobe’s renowned nighttime cityscape, often referred to as the “Million Dollar Night View,” providing a memorable setting for premium corporate or incentive events.
ESG Alignment
The Nada Gogō sake-brewing districts—stretching from Kobe to the neighboring city of Nishinomiya—are collectively said to account for approximately 25% of Japan’s total sake production. The sake sold onboard, branded as “Zui”, is produced through a collaboration with Kobe Shushinkan, a renowned brewery known for its commitment to sustainable brewing practices.
This mellow, fruit-forward sake is aged at ambient temperature inside a tunnel designated as a modern industrial heritage site. Limited to just 3,000 bottles, a portion of the sales is reinvested in the preservation and maintenance of this historic infrastructure.
